U.S. Representatives John Shimkus (R-IL), Peter Roskam (R-IL), Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), and Randy Hultgren (R-IL) released the following joint statement regarding the nomination of Mr. John Lausch to serve as U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois:
"We are very pleased that Mr. Lausch has drawn bipartisan support to serve as the next U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois. In our conversations with him, and in a great deal of feedback we have received, we believe that his background, experience, and thoughtfulness provide great confidence in his capacity to lead the office and meet the urgent challenges facing our community."
